When does the Fortnite live event countdown end?

A mysterious countdown has appeared on the Fortnite island as Chapter 5 Season 3 nears its conclusion, meaning there’s likely a mini-event to watch once the timer runs out.

Based on what we see in the game, The countdown for the live event ends on Saturday, August 10th in most regions at the following times:

• 11:00 am PDT off the west coast of North America
• 2:00 PM EDT off the east coast of North America
• 7:00pm BST for the United Kingdom
• 8:00 PM CEST for Western Europe/Paris
• 03:00 AM JST for Japan/Tokyo on August 11
• 04:00 AM AET for Australia/Sydney on August 11

What will happen in Fortnite when the countdown timer runs out?

There has been no official announcement yet about the exact nature of the timer, but a number of dataminers have unearthed information about what is likely to happen. For those who don’t mind spoilersyou can scroll past the image below.

The bottom line is that the map will likely change a bit after the event and there will be some sort of connection to the upcoming fourth season.

This map image of the FortniteLeaks subreddit implies that there will be a small map change after the event. The map change mainly focuses on Redline Rig, which now has a kind of explosive structure.

Another data miner, McMistrzYT on X (formerly Twitter)has rendered the 3D version of the card to show that the explosive item is Pandora’s Box!

It looks like more evil will be revealed in the upcoming season, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
