When does Fortnite’s Rocket Racing go live?

Fortnite gets its own built-in racing mode, too Rocket racing.

Psyonix, the team behind it Rocket Leaguehas developed a racing game mode for it Fortnite. Using Rocket League mechanics (floating, flying, boosting, etc.), you can race through maps together with friends. It's free to play and it's a different game Fortnitealthough it runs through Fortnite.

Rocket League Players will also notice that their in-game inventories will be available in Rocket racing, so you can transfer your decked out car to race. Nice. This is when Fortnite Rocket Racing will release in your time zone.

What time does Rocket Racing launch?

Fortnite Rocket Racing continues live Friday, December 8 at 7am PST. This is when that is in your time zone:

  • 7am PST off the west coast of North America
  • 10am EST off the east coast of North America
  • 3:00 PM GMT for Great Britain
  • 4:00 PM CEST for western mainland Europe
  • 12:00 JST in Japan (December 9)

Once Rocket Racing goes live, you should have access to the game Fortnite (as mentioned above), but we're a little unclear on the exact details of how it works.
