FortniteChapter 4, Season 5’s next step forward is a step back in time. Fortnite O.G takes players back to the beginning — all the way to chapter 1 – on November 3, 2023including a return to the original map.
Let’s see when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 launches based on clues and history, then talks about what we can expect from the new season, and when we can reasonably expect the new one Fortnite launch season.
What time does Fortnite OG Chapter 4 Season 5 launch?

With an official launch of Friday November 3, announced, we can make some educated guesses about launch times based on history. Server downtime usually starts around 2 or 3 a.m. EST and typically lasts about four hours (give or take). That means we can reasonably expect that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 goes live:
- 1am – 4am PST off the west coast of North America
- 4am – 7am EST off the east coast of North America
- 8am – 11am GMT for Great Britain
- 9am – 12pm CET for Western Europe/Paris
- 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM JST about Japan/Tokyo
What to expect in Fortnite OG Chapter 4 Season 5
Update (November 1): We have an official teaser for C4S5 and it gives us the official name Fortnite O.G for the season. It shows a return to Tilted towers and features close-ups of returning weapons like the classic pump shotgun And Hand cannon.
An official one gameplay trailer is scheduled to go live on YouTube at 3:00 AM EST on Friday, November 3. In the meantime, the most important works of art are leak-proof and assembled.
So we can add floating boards and the LMG to the list of unvaulted items.
We’ve also seen leaks of the new (old) skins with names like Omegaskirt, Renegade Lynx, Spectra knightAnd Little Split.
Everything about this new season and his theme of “rewind” is a return to (and celebration of) OG Fortnite Chapter 1 from all the way back in 2018. Specifically Chapter 1, Season 5. Leaks for C4S5 started circulating on Tuesday. While most of the following information has not been officially confirmed, it all comes from known and trusted leaks.
The biggest change is a return to the original OG Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map – including fan favorite POI Tilted towers. However, don’t expect that map to stay the same for the entire month-long season. Leakers have suggested the card will be update quickly and repeatedly throughout the season.
Skins, weapons and vehicles from Chapter 1 are also expected to return. Skins seen in the leaks and teasers so far include (remixes of) Peely, RagnarokAnd Team Leader. We’ve also seen the return of weapons like the original Assault rifle (AR), turretsAnd traps. We have seen leaks in vehicles airplanes, ballersAnd shopping carts.
However, the gameplay does not return to the old style. Sprinting and mantles will remain in the new season, probably along with Zero Build.
Chapter 4 Season 5 probably won’t introduce any entirely new modes Fortnite. It is rumored that the Rocket League Racing mode will make its debut shortly after the launch of the new season, although it will likely wait until the launch of Chapter 5.
