When does Destiny 2: Season of the Wish release?

Season of wish is the final season of Lot 2 before Bungie changes its popular loot shooter to an episodic model after the upcoming one Final shape expansion. It could well be the end of an era Lot 2but at least the era is ending with a bang.

Season of the Wish returns to The Dreaming City to finally deal with the 15th Wish – a seed planted in the game over five years ago in 2018. To leave expansion β€” among other exciting additions, which we’ve detailed below (to the best of our ability). Here is when Lot 2: Season of the Wish begins in your time zone and what will happen in Season of the Wish.

What time does Destiny 2: Season of the Wish start?

According to Bungie it is Lot 2: Season of the Wish begins at 9am PST on Tuesday, November 28. This is when that is in your time zone:

  • 9am PST for the west coast of North America
  • 12:00 EST off the east coast of North America
  • 6pm CET for Western Europe/Paris
  • 5pm GMT for Great Britain
  • 2am JST on November 29 for Tokyo

What’s new in Destiny 2: Season of the Wish?

As usual, Bungie is keeping tight-lipped Lot 2the coming season.

Still, there are a few things the studio has promised in recent months, as well as things we can infer from Season of the Wish’s teaser trailer and press release.

  • Season of the Wish is named after the 15th wish, a joke and rumor in the community that started in the To leave era. In The Last Wish raid, you can input symbols to create “wishes” that can teleport you to certain encounters during the raid, grant bonus loot, or even give enemies Halo’s old Grunt Birthday Party effect. There are 14 of these other wishes in Last Wish, but data miners discovered a hidden “15th wish” that never appeared in the game. It became a bit of a legend in the Destiny community, and has been that way for over five years.
  • Season of the Wish will finally be the addition of one in-game group finder for Lot 2 β€” one of the most requested features of the game. You can jump into the menu and join groups looking for more players, or create your own group, complete with tags meant to attract like-minded Guardians.
  • While it’s not technically part of the Season of the Wish offering – as it’s part of a separate purchase, the Lightfall Dungeon Key – we’ll get a new one Lot 2 dungeon on Friday, December 1. We know even less about this dungeon than we do about the season. But Bungie’s recent dungeons are in keeping with the seasonal theme of the season they launched alongside it, so it’s reasonable to expect something similar here. It seems very likely that we’ll end up with another Dreaming City-themed dungeon, similar to the Shattered Throne – the first-ever Destiny dungeon.
