When does Amazon Prime Day end – and where can I still find deals?

Amazon’s second day of Prime Day deals comes to an end today (Wednesday, October 11), meaning the best bargains on everything from tech and gadgets to air fryers and running shoes are running out. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still score a good bargain.

At the time of writing there are still plenty of deals to be had, just check out our Prime Day deals live blog, which features a collection of the best and current deals from what Amazon calls its Prime Big Deals Days sale.

If you miss the deals this time, don’t despair as we’re getting closer to the Black Friday deals, which will no longer run over a few days, but more over a period of about six weeks. And it’s worth remembering that even when Prime Day 2 comes to an end, Amazon will still have some deals worth checking out. So keep an eye on TechRadar as we’ll try to highlight some of the best we see.

For now, the second Amazon Prime Day of 2023 will end in the UK and US.

What time does Prime Day 2023 end?

For bargain hunters in the US and UK, the second Amazon Prime Day of 2023/Prime Big Deals Days ends at the following times:

  • Wednesday, October 11 at 11:59 PM
  • 2:59 a.m. EDT on Thursday, October 12
  • 11.59am BST on Wednesday 11th October

And how long do Prime Day deals last?

This isn’t the easiest question to answer, as we tend to see deals slow down or end in certain categories, like Amazon Fire and Echo devices, but continue in other areas, like TVs and computers.

Conventional wisdom says that if you see a lot about something you really want, go for it. If you wait for the very cheapest price, you may miss out on a bargain. Likewise, we try to highlight the best deals from the duds.

And with Black Friday on the horizon, you can expect attractive deals on Amazon even after Prime Day 2/Prime Big Deals Days end. So it’s worth keeping an eye on TechRadar as we’ll be tracking the best deals to come across a range of categories as we approach Black Friday.

As for the rest of this Prime Day in October, we recommend that you keep an eye on the following offers:

Lightning deals
Lightning deals are super fast deals that arrive very quickly and sell out again. But they’re where you can score a bargain, especially if you’re already an Amazon Prime member, as you get 30 minutes of early access.

To get the most out of these deals, you’ll need a Prime membership. If you are not yet a member, you can still join with one free 30-day Prime trial.

Deals under $25/£15
It goes without saying that these are deals under a certain amount and provide a way to score a bargain or make a turnkey purchase on a cheap device or product. These offers are ideal for buying things like supplements, daily necessities or underwear at attractive prices.
