The pop world was shocked earlier this year when that was announced Paul Cattermole of S Club 7 had passed away, just months before he was due to join his bandmates on a reunion tour.
Paul was found dead at his home in Dorset on April 6 at the age of 46, with no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. recently confirmed that he died of natural causes.
His fellow S Club stars were understandably devastated by his death, not so much so that his ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearritt, who was said she was “inconsolable” over the tragic loss of her former love.
That turned out this month Hannah has pulled out of the pop group’s upcoming reunion tourwith band members Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jo O’Meara and Bradley McIntosh continuing as a quintet.

1994 – First meeting
Hannah and Paul’s friendship predates the formation of the group in the 1990s, after they became friends at the National Youth Music Theater in their teens.
Hannah was 13 and Paul was 17 when they met, with Hannah later sharing that it was her friend Sheridan Smith, also present, who took a liking to Paul at the time.
1999 – Falling in love
After the band formed in 1998, the group inevitably came close with hours of recording and rehearsing together,
But Hannah and Paul were closer than most and wWhen the group traveled to LA in 1999 to film their hit TV sitcom Miami 7 Hannah, they realized it was much more than a friendship.
Last month, Hannah reminisced about the trip to America where she fell for Paul, where they watched the sunset together after romantic car rides and he would play guitar for her.

She shared how she initially realized she had feelings for her boyfriend when she became jealous of him flirting with someone else during a group ski trip.
Hannah added that the pair later had “a little drunken kissing one night” before things really started to develop when they returned to LA.
She said The sun of their budding romance: ‘It was all a honeymoon. I can’t remember a day when I felt bad. Life was really really good.
“It was fun from the start, it was a long honeymoon. He was also happy to play his guitar for me. Then he just picked up his guitar, made up songs and sang to me.’
“We would go on long drives together at night, up into the hills to watch the sunset.
2001 – The romance begins
The pair officially started dating in 2001 and they continued dating even after Paul decided to leave the group in 2002.
Hannah previously shared how his departure had put a strain on their relationship, but despite this, they continued their relationship for another five years.

Paul revealed in the past how they would sneak into each other’s houses in the early hours to avoid being caught by fans.
However, in an unearthed interview years later, Paul claimed that their romance was “written into their contracts” and that it hadn’t “died organically” to their on-screen romance on Miami 7.
2006 – First split
The couple split up in 2006, three years after the hit parade decided to end it.
Hannah soon flew to the US in an attempt to pursue an acting career, with Paul later claiming she was influenced to dump him in an attempt to boost her career.
The blonde beauty later started an Andrew-Lee Potts after meeting on the set of ITV’s Primeval, with Paul accusing Hannah of “replacing” him for the actor.

Hannah and Andrew got engaged in 2008 after a two-year romance, but it wasn’t to be and they split in 2013.
Paul also claimed to suffer a loss of income after becoming the first member of S Club to leave the band in 2002, saying he felt Hannah “prioritised her career” over their relationship.
2015 – Renewed relationship and second split
When the band reformed in 2015 for a Children In Need gig and tour, Hannah and Paul found themselves attracted to each other again and got back together seven months later.

Their newfound relationship came shortly after Hannah divorced personal trainer Adam Thomas in June of that year, with Adam accusing Paul of jumping into his bed “before it got cold.”
However, the romance was not meant to be and Paul dumped Hannah after only three and a half months, suspecting she still had feelings for former fiancé Adam.
2023 – Restoring their friendship after a seven-year feud
After their last breakup, Paul and Hannah have not spoken to each other for seven years, although Paul has sometimes spoken publicly about their relationship.
In 2017, Hannah lashed out at her past love for discussing their romance when she took to Twitter to write, “Cringe. Someone is broke again…. Hilarious! #tragic’.
However, following the announcement that S Club 7 was once again reforming, the pair took steps to mend their friendship earlier this year.
They secretly met for coffee in January, where they agreed to put the past behind them ahead of the upcoming reunion tour, marking the group’s 25th anniversary.
A source revealed to MailOnline: ‘Hannah and Paul met in January to resolve their issues after years of dispute.
