Following the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and the ending of the second season of the anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, the popularity of the series shows no signs of abating; a third season of the anime is well into production.

Yes. On February 13, the official Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Twitter account tweeted the first image teaser of the third season and announced that it was already in production.

What will Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 3 cover?

The third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will adapt the ninth arc of the original manga, titled the Swordsmith Village Arc.

The original manga arc follows Tanjiro as he travels to a village of swordsmiths to repair his Nichirin sword after his climactic battle with the Upper Rank Six demons Daki and Gyutaro at the end of the Entertainment District arc. The season will feature the appearance of the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, who were introduced in Episode 21 of the first season.

Who is producing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3?

Haruo Sotozaki, who directed the first and second seasons of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as well as the feature film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Trainreturns to direct the third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Character designer and lead animation director Akira Matsushima also returns. Anime studio Ufotable will again take care of the production tasks Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc.

There’s a short teaser trailer covering the series so far

In April 2022, Crunchyroll and Ufotable released the first trailer for the anime. While most of the trailer is a recap of the show’s previous arcs, complete with old footage, it offers a few pick shots of the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, and Tanjiro with what appears to be a reforged Nichirin -sword.

When is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 coming out?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will premiere on Fuji TV in Japan on Sunday, April 9 according to a tweet from the series’ official Japanese Twitter account. The season will premiere with a one-hour special premiere episode, according to an announcement following a Japanese TV special broadcast of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in December.

The premiere Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will be preceded by worldwide screenings of ‘Demon Slayer: The Upper Ranks Gather and Onward to the Swordsmith Village’, a feature-length film of the 10th and 11th installments of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, premieres in Los Angeles on February 18 and will be screened in March in more than 1,700 theaters across the United States and Canada in both English-subtitled and dubbed versions.

Will Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Stream on Crunchyroll or Netflix?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will stream on Crunchyroll starting April 9. It is not yet known whether Netflix will stream the new season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
