Wheel of Fortune gets explicit when a contestant guesses a hilariously wrong answer that leaves the audience and other contestants stunned
Just days after an embarrassing Wheel of Fortune failure, another contestant has given a hilariously inappropriate response.
Thursday’s episode of the long-running game show featured a contestant named Tavaris, who came in to guess a ‘Phrase’ puzzle.
This was during an early $1,000 coin toss round, where the random letters appear and the participants have to come in to solve the puzzle.
The four-word answer had no letters reversed in the first four-letter word, the first letter I in the second two-letter word, the first and third letters T and E in the third three-letter word, and the first and fourth letters B and T in the last four-letter word.
Tavaris intervened and guessed, “Right in the ass,” causing the audience to gasp and laugh, while another contestant exclaimed, “What?”

Tavaris intervened and guessed, “Right in the ass,” causing the audience to gasp and laugh, while another contestant exclaimed, “What?”
Tavaris’ eyes widened as he put down his buzzer, while others in the audience continued to laugh, especially since “good” is five letters and the first word in the puzzle is only four letters.
Another participant, Blake, luckily came up with the correct answer: “This is the best.”
Tavaris clapped, turned to Blake and joked, “Much better answer,” as the game continued.
When it came time for host Pat Sajak to introduce the players, he was still giggling from Tavaris’ off-color answer.
“Well, Tavaris, you’ve already impressed us,” Pat said, as the contestant apologized.
“My apologies, Pat. I was a little excited,” as the longtime host added, “We’ll figure out a way to handle that tastefully.” I have no idea what that will be, but…’
Earlier this week, the 77-year-old Sajak — who is in its 43rd and final season hosting Wheel of Fortune before Ryan Seacrest takes over — had another embarrassing failure.
Contestant Brittany Collins – a children’s hospital facilitator from Kentucky – had what most would consider a very simple answer: $11,200 was at stake.
Tavaris’ eyes widened as he put down his buzzer, while others in the audience continued to laugh, especially since “good” is five letters and the first word in the puzzle is only four letters.

The three-word puzzle had revealed AN_T_ING IS POSSI__E, although Collins asked for an R, while the audience groaned audibly.
“I’m sorry, there’s no R,” Sajak said, turning to the next contestant, Susan Meissner, from South Carolina, and quickly guessing right: ‘Everything is possible.’
The host briefly praised Susan’s efforts before trying to explain why Brittany might not have been able to come up with that answer.
“Sometimes you sit at home and you think, ‘I know that,’” Sajak explained.
“It’s funny, sometimes it just doesn’t want to focus, and then we move on to the next round,” he continued.
