Stefanovic joked on air just after 6:15 a.m. that he had broken his hammie, an apparent reference to the hamstring injury Clarke allegedly sustained in the January 10 fight.
The comment was made after sportscaster Alex Cullen had just finished reporting on Novac Djokovic, who has been treating a torn hamstring with “pills and hot cream” to help him through matches at the Australian Open. 2023.

Clarke’s co-host Gerard Middleton couldn’t resist joking about the hamstring injury during the broadcast, commenting that the bruise on his ‘hammie’ was ‘two feet’ long.
‘I want to ask you, you showed us before that hamstring bruise, that’s amazing, man. You won’t be able to walk properly for weeks,” Middleton joked.
At the start of the broadcast, Clarke also told co-hosts Middleton and Laurie Daley that her injury was ‘on the mend’ as the trio talked about their summer vacation.
Clarke shrugged off his injury, saying, “Nah, okay mate, he’s on the mend, I’m ready to go, I’m ready, game day, good to go, on the mend.”

Yarbrough and Clarke, who was limping in the footage after pulling a hamstring in the altercation, have been issued fines for “public nuisance”.
Stefanovic has yet to make a statement about the ordeal, but was asked about the footage during an event held at the Australian Open on Thursday.
According to the herald sun he smiled when asked about the incident.

A remorseful Clarke has since taken full responsibility for what happened.

Edwards also issued a statement the night the images were released.
