Australia Day 2024: What’s open this long weekend – Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings, Kmart and more…
Millions of Australians are gearing up for the long weekend as Australia Day quickly approaches.
While banks and all government agencies such as Centrelink will be closed on Friday, most major businesses will be open for at least part of the day.
But hours may vary from state to state, with some stores closed in parts of the country.
Daily Mail Australia has put together a guide to the opening hours of some of the country’s biggest stores, including Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and Bunnings.
As the annual debate over Australia Day becomes increasingly heated, just like the weather on the day itself, people may not notice that it is a public holiday and that this means different opening and closing times for many shops. A Woolworths store in Brisbane is pictured
