For the first time in my life I am terrified of my generation.
For 22 years after nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered on September 11, all it took was a social media frenzy to convince these lemmings of Generation Z that the terrorist slaughter was justified.
What else could they be persuaded to believe?
I can only imagine the reaction of shocked Boomer parents who woke up Thursday to read what their no-good kids were doing in the basement the night before.
Many watched TikToks praising one of humanity’s most deranged mass murderers and his infamous “Letter to America.”
Yes, I’m talking about the radical Islamist tirades of terrorist Osama Bin Laden, his feeble attempt to rationalize the 2001 murder of innocents by claiming that US foreign policy in Israel and the rest of the Arab world supported Al’s attack -Qaeda has caused.
Views of the associated hashtag total 12.5 million, with some videos being ‘liked’ more than 100,000 times.
How could my peers read such filthy scum – let alone be moved by it?
Here’s what some TikTokers had to say:
Bin Laden ‘was right’.
“My life will never be the same (after reading this),” moaned another.
Others claimed to have suffered an ‘existential crisis’.

Although I would almost suggest that if you are so vulnerable that some lunatic’s deranged essay derails you, the problem is yours, not US foreign policy.
“I just finished reading ‘A Letter to America’ and I will never look at life the same way again. I will never look at this country the same way again,” screamed one particularly overwrought influencer.
Well, neither do I.
Bin Laden writes about the “devastating Jewish control of capital” and how it will “enslave you” before heading to America to produce “harmful greenhouse gases.”
Ah yes, two things the far left hates: climate change and Jews.
No doubt many of those who cheer on bin Laden and use his hate speeches to justify their anti-Israel obsession are among the same lunatics we see marching through the streets and across college campuses chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” ‘
I’m sure these blue-haired sheep with their nose rings would do just fine in Hamas’ Gaza. But for these thoughtless conformists to find bin Laden so inspiring, they must have skipped the part where he justified the murder of all non-believers.

That means you too, Gen Z!
Do they have a death wish?
Gen Z should be officially renamed Gen N for nihilists. Because the sad truth is that parts of my generation have become numb automatons, doom scrolling and retweeting in search of influence – good, bad or indifferent – decency be damned.
From grade school to college, they were taught to hate their country: the founders were vicious slave owners; American land was stolen from Native Americans; Capitalism equals exploitation.
Heck, you only have to read the New York Times to learn that patriotism is wrong and that displaying an American flag is offensive.
Those who dare to go against the grain and unapologetically love America are branded as far-right freaks, too divisive to be friends with.
Truly, young people have learned to hate themselves; they carry generational guilt; they are blameworthy simply because they were born.
Frankly, for those who drink the cult-like Kool-Aid, it must be a terrible existence.
Is it any wonder that these snowflakes have come up with problems that give them a reason, at least in their minds, to feel something – anything?

They glue themselves to roads or throw food and paint at priceless works of art – all conveniently captured in a repostable 20-second clip.
My generation thrives on vibes, not facts.
They are raised to believe that there is no ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ – that their amorphous ‘truth’ is more important than the hard reality.
I have no doubt that many jumped on the pro-Bin Laden bandwagon because it felt good.
Everyone started working on it. Why suffer the FOMO when they too can express their pseudo-intellectual outrage from behind a screen?
There is no need for critical thinking here. The thinking muscle is not just atrophied – it never formed in the first place.
But of course, when anyone tries to engage these losers in a debate, it results in unholy hissy fits and cries of “trauma.”
This generation has been coddled since birth, given participation medals instead of actually achieving anything of value, and told that all their whimsical feelings matter.
A few years ago, such wild expressions of anti-Americanism might have been due to the naivete that comes with youth. But no longer; these are now our new doctors, engineers, teachers and politicians.
They are the future.
That’s what’s really terrifying.
Soon, Gen-Z will be in charge.
