What time will Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 be released?

Honkai: Star RailThe new 2.3 patch is coming soon and brings new characters and story. We will see new five-star characters Firefly and Jade, in addition to Ruan Mei and Argenti, who will make another appearance during the patch. Version 2.3 also includes a new story, new relics, and new events to explore over the next six weeks.

Below we explain when Honkai: Star Rail maintenance begins and ends, next to the release time of version 2.3. We’ve also added some details on what you can expect from it Honkai: Star Rail patch 2.3.

What time is Honkai: Star Rail offline for maintenance?

Honkai: Star Rail goes offline for maintenance June 18 or 19 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

June 18 at 3pm PDT off the west coast of North America
June 18 at 6pm EDT off the east coast of North America
June 18 at 11pm BST for Great Britain
June 19 at 12:00 CEST for Western Europe/Paris
June 19 at 7am JST for Japan/Tokyo
June 19 at 8am AEST for Australia/Sydney

Be sure to burn your fuel before maintenance begins, if you wish.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 start?

Honkai: Star Rail should return from maintenance with version 2.3 at the following times:

June 18 at 8pm PDT off the west coast of North America
June 18 at 11pm EDT off the east coast of North America
June 19 at 4am BST for Great Britain
June 19 at 5am CEST for Western Europe/Paris
June 19 at 12:00 JST for Japan/Tokyo
June 19 at 1pm AEST for Australia/Sydney

The servers may be available sooner or later depending on how maintenance goes, but these are estimated times Honkai: Star Rail should start living. Normally Hooverse is quite good at adhering to maintenance times. Normally we don’t get extensive maintenance, but sometimes it ends prematurely!

What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3?

In version 2.3 we say goodbye to Penacony, as the story ends there. (There’s no doubt that we’ll eventually return for another storyline or event, similar to what we often do with the Xianzhou Luofu.) We’ll see Firefly and Jade, but this will also help put a bow on Sparkle’s story, which never really came to fruition in the last patch.

Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 also includes a new version of Simulated Universe called Divergent Universe, which will be permanently added to the game. In addition, a free new five-star Erudition light cone will be added to the Herta store. With this new version, you can obtain Planar Ornaments faster by going straight to the boss and collecting your relics, instead of fighting through a number of levels first.

There will also be a new endgame mode called Apocalyptic Shadow that will allow you to earn Jade Feathers and other good loot, as well as new relic sets to equip for characters.

Naturally, there are a handful of events spread throughout the six-week patch, including one that lets you choose a free four-star character from Gallagher, Hanya, Luka, or Arlan.
