Season 3 by Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone arrives on April 3, marking a huge update for Activision’s hugely popular shooter.
In addition to new weapons, season 3 “brings in some of the biggest content Duty history” will bring new maps, modes, weapons and skins. Here is when Modern Warfare 3 season 3 starts in your time zoneplus an overview of the changes you can expect.
MW3 Season 3 Release Time: When Will The New MW3 Season Launch?
Modern Warfare 3 season 3 and War zone season 3 is launched Wednesday April 3, simultaneously in all regions of the world. This is when the release will take place in your time zone:
- 9am PDT off the west coast of North America
- 12pm EDT off the east coast of North America
- 5:00 PM GMT for Great Britain
- 6:00 PM CEST for Western Europe / Paris
- 1 hour JST on April 4 for Tokyo
Based on the timing of previous seasons for previous Call of Duty games, the Season 3 update should roll out approximately 24 hours before the times mentioned above, hopefully giving you enough time to download.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 introduces a number of new maps, modes, skins, weapons and operators that you can use anywhere War zone. Activision also announced several mid-season releases. You can read all changes at the Activision blogbut we will describe the largest ones below.
MW3 Season 3 and Warzone Season 3 new, returning and midseason maps

There are two new ones 6v6 core cards arrive at the beginning of season 3 — the 6 stars rooftop spa and the Emergency medical facility. Grow house gets a remastered map and the Vondel Zoos Fueled up card has been reused.

Expect a new London-based one mid-season Filthy card and one reused Checkpoint military outpost map.

For War zoneseason 3 returns to Rebirth Island and the 11 POIs.

There are four game modes this season. Two will be available at (or around) launch:
- Capture the flagwhere teams compete to steal their opponent’s flag and return the entire team safely to base
- One in the room is a one-hit kill mode that starts players with one bullet and rewards one more for each kill
The remaining two game modes are mid-season drops:
- Minefield will drop a proximity mine whenever a player is killed
- Escort will see one team escorting a MAW and the other team trying to destroy it
