What Nikki Haley wrote on fresh artillery shells during visit to Israel days after IDF’s refugee zone airstrike left 45 dead
- The UN ambassador wrote the message during a visit to Israel’s northern border
- Donald Trump recently ruled Haley out of the former governor’s nomination as vice president
Former GOP presidential candidate and Donald Trump’s UN ambassador Nikki Haley wrote “finish them” on an IDF grenade moments after the devastating attack on refugees in Rafah that killed 45 people.
Haley, 52, was traveling along Israel’s northern border with Lebanon when the photo opportunity occurred. The former South Carolina governor also wrote, “America loves Israel.”
The photo was originally posted on X by Israel’s former UN Ambassador Danny Danon. Danon is a member of Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud party and is considered a strong supporter of continued military operations against Hamas.
When Haley spoke to reporters, he was defensive and took the opportunity to attack President Joe Biden, accusing him of withholding aid from Israel to slow IDF operations in Rafah.
Haley was also critical of the efforts of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice to try the Israeli government for war crimes.

Haley abandoned her bid for the White House in March after heavy defeats in the Republican primaries against Trump, and said last week she would vote for him in the election.

“What America needs to understand is that if Israel is fighting our enemies, how can we not help them,” Haley said.
“The sure way not to help Israel is to withhold weapons. The sure way not to help Israel is to praise the ICC, the International Court of Justice or anyone else who condemns Israel rather than condemning what is happening.”
“America must do what Israel needs and stop telling them how to fight this war. You are either a friend or not a friend.’
Recently, Haley was criticized after announcing that she would vote for former President Donald Trump in the November election.
During the pair’s battles on the primary campaign trail, Haley called Trump “dangerous” and tried to convince his supporters that he was not fit for the office of president.
“What America needs to understand is: If Israel is fighting our enemies, how can we not help them? America needs to do what Israel needs and stop telling them how to fight this war,” Haley said as she announced her support for Trump.
Trump has ruled her out of the race to become his vice president, but she is a potential presidential candidate in 2028.
During the trip, Haley also met with survivors of the brutal Hamas attack on October 7
The White House said Tuesday that President Joe Biden has no plans to change his Israel policy after a deadly weekend attack on Rafah, but that he is not “turning a blind eye” to the plight of Palestinian civilians.
During her recent visit to the Jewish state, Haley also toured southern Israel, where she met with survivors of the brutal Hamas attack on October 7, which resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people and the kidnapping of 253 others.
In the aftermath of that attack, more than 30,000 Palestinians, including large numbers of young children, were killed in waves of Israeli attacks.
Haley’s posts were strongly criticized by human rights activists.
‘Nikki Haley shows who she is. Because Israeli bombings have killed many more Palestinian civilians than fighters, she draws a bombshell: “Kill them.” Why don’t we just sign: ‘I support Israeli war crimes,’ said former Human Rights Watch director Kenneth Roth.
