The 10 most attractive jobs have been revealed – and the five careers considered the least attractive by both genders.
‘Life-saving’ professions such as firefighters, doctors and police officers have come out on top for men, with construction workers and mechanics following closely behind.
On the other hand, “caregiving” positions such as flight attendants, nurses, and secretaries lead the charge for “sexiest” female occupations.
Teachers and actors are also among the top five most popular professions for women.
More than 1,000 ‘sexually active’ adult Aussies were surveyed to find out which roles will be the ‘sexiest’ overall in 2023.

Meanwhile, men and women were interrogated by Love darling agreed on which roles are the least attractive, with judges receiving just 0.75 percent of the vote.
It was also the sexiest profession, regardless of your sexual preference, with those identifying as heterosexual, heterosexual, and bisexual all seemingly turned off by those in the role.
Web developers and politicians followed suit, as did creative professions such as marketing managers and designers.
“Judges, web developers and politicians are not typically seen as professions that match men’s gender roles when it comes to upholding the idealized depictions of masculinity,” said sex coach Cam Fraser.
“I also think the media plays a part in our perception of these professions, with web developers very often portrayed as nerdy, judges as older and unemotional, and politicians as sleazy and manipulative.”
Fraser said the results reflect perceived gender roles in society.
‘I think these jobs that come out as the most sexually attractive have to do with the perceived gender roles related to masculinity in society that these occupations entail,” Fraser said.
Some stereotyped occupations for men that are sexually arousing to others include firefighters, construction workers, and police officers.

“In these professions, men’s roles include being skillful and courageous, serving, protecting, and being a leader—all things that are often stereotypically attractive to others when it comes to men’s gender roles in society and idealized depictions of masculinity.”
Fraser revealed that women are considered “sexier” when their roles are highly skilled, but in a more caring capacity.
‘[If a woman is] nurturing and providing support — all things that are stereotypically attractive to others when it comes to women’s gender roles in society — they are more attractive,” he said.
“We also have television, movies and pornography to thank for depicting certain professions in seductive and sexy ways.”
