Lucky Star is Lot 2‘s new Void bow, added as part of the Solstice 2024 holiday event. It’s a lightweight frame combat bow with a base draw time of 612 and has some pretty fun perk combos.
In this Lot 2 guide, we’ll discuss how to get the Fortunate Star and what perks we consider the “god roll” in both PvE and PvP.
Remark: After August 27, Fortunate Star will no longer be available until at least Solstice 2025.
How to Get the Fortunate Star in 2024
You can get a Fortunate Star as a reward for completing the Campfire party activity and earning Solstice Packs. In short, if you participate in the event at all, you will see multiple drops for Fortunate Star and all the older Solstice weapons.

Fortunate Star has some fun combos, including the Void-specific combo of Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. But we’re going to go with a more unique combo: Archer’s Tempo and Archer’s Gambit. These two perks together drastically reduce your draw time, making for a super fun bow that shoots really fast if you can be accurate.

In PvP, bows are swappable weapons. The idea is to deal damage with Fortunate Star, quickly swap to another weapon like a Kinetic Hand Cannon, and finish off your target. As such, we want high handling, great target acquisition, and a faster initial draw time on Fortunate Star.
