What impact will Israel’s attack on Iran have on the stock market, crude oil and gold?
Reports of Irsael’s attack on Iran in the early hours of Friday sent most Asian markets into correction mode. The S&P BSE Sensex fell nearly 1 percent, or 599 points, to touch a low of 71,816 levels – a sharp decline from its 52-week high of 75,124.28 on April 9.
In the broader markets, the BSE midcap and smallcap indices fell 1 percent each in intraday trading on Friday due to the Israel-Iran conflict.
