It’s not uncommon for animals to be pampered and groomed, but some owners opt for drastic makeovers for their pets.

Animal lovers from the US and around the world have shared hilarious images on the website Wacko Jacko shows the sometimes unrecognizable transformations their pets have gone through.

While admittedly a few pets have been trimmed for the better, some of them look rather peculiar after a full grooming session.

By now, some animals have been virtually depilated, making their faces look extra fluffy – but still cute.
