Australian cricket star Adam Zampa has always been a colorful person – and his latest tattoo literally illustrates why.
Zampa, 31, took to Instagram on Thursday to show off the latest ink on his thigh, and it gives new meaning to the term leftfield.
The off-spinner opted for an image of Larry David – the genius behind TV hits Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm – bizarrely holding the 2021 T20 and ODI World Cup trophies won by Zampa.
It came with the accompanying tagline ‘Pretty Good’, a one-liner that David often used in his famous comedy sketches.
Renowned Melbourne tattoo artist Mick Squires completed the design, which Zampa is said to be happy with.

The 31-year-old often entertains his teammates – and social media followers – with his wacky humor and approach to life
On his Instagram storya cheeky Zampa added the headline ‘Prettay prettay best good’, mimicking David’s famous line.
Many of Zampa’s followers on social media raved about the uniqueness of his new tattoo.
“Adam Zampa is the real deal,” Vithushan Ehantharajah, associate editor of ESPNcricinfo, wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Another fan wrote, “Adam Zampa simply has the best vibe of any cricketer who ever lived.”
It comes after Zampa – especially with Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell – celebrated wildly after winning the ODI World Cup on Indian soil last year.
After picking up 23 wickets in the tournament, Zampa mocked Australian cricket legend Michael Clarke on social media after the former captain wrote off the team’s chances after two early defeats to India and South Africa.
Zampa also received a lot of negative news after he refused to sing the national anthem before a number of matches in the subcontinent.
