EXCLUSIVE: Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley divorces model girlfriend Amanda Cronin – because she labels him ‘not relationship material’
Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley, 60, was heartbroken when he split from his long-term partner, Bananarama singer Keren Woodward, in 2017.
So fans were thrilled when the Mail revealed last summer that he had found love again, with super-rich divorcee and former model Amanda Cronin.
But the singer’s ray of sunshine has sadly proved fleeting after Cronin, 54, revealed the pair have split.
She told the Mail: “I’m grateful for the time we’ve had together — he’s smart, funny, sexy and cool.”
Speaking at the launch party for Lisa Snowdon’s book, Just Getting Started, at Langan’s Brasserie in Mayfair, Ms Cronin explained: ‘Andrew is such a phenomenal man, but I don’t think he’s really relationship material, although he’s been in a very long relationship. .’

She added, “I’ll get married again, and it won’t be with Andrew.”
The pair made their first public appearance together to watch tennis at Wimbledon in June last year.
Friends told the Mail at the time that the “public debut” showed the couple “take their relationship seriously.”
Cronin, who is said to have “the longest legs in Belgravia,” was the subject of Channel 4’s The Millionairess And Me last year.
She landed a multi-million pound divorce settlement in 2019 from Monaco energy mogul Mark Daeche, with whom she had a daughter, after six years of marriage.
Before meeting Ridgeley, Cronin had complained, “I’m looking for love, but I’m never approached. I want a man who is kind, passionate, sincere and authentic.
“I don’t want to do dating apps — I just believe the right person will end up in my life, it always has.”
Ridgeley founded Wham! with George Michael after they met at school. He amassed an estimated £25 million fortune from their performances.

He and Ms Woodward, 62, surprised fans in 2017 by announcing they were separating after 25 years.

The duo were one of the most popular bands of the 1980s and Ridgeley is said to have worked with the estate of George Michael, who died aged 53 in 2016, to come up with ideas for the anniversary.
There are also plans to re-release their music.
