We’ve got another sign that the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is close to launching

If you're keen to have a Samsung-made fitness tracker on your wrist, you might want to hold off on buying one for a while, as all signs point to an imminent launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3.

Rumors about the wearable have been going around for a while, but… Android Authority reports that a device called Galaxy Fit 3 has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database, where all new Bluetooth devices must be registered.

The listing doesn't tell us much about the wearable – other than that it will be called the Galaxy Fit 3 – but does suggest a launch could happen at any time. The model number is SM-390 and it supports Bluetooth 5.3, if you're interested.

With the holidays quickly approaching, it may be unlikely that Samsung will release a new product in the weeks we have left in 2023, but it shouldn't be long until 2024 before the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 appears.

More leaks

It was last month that the Galaxy Fit 3 rumors really started in earnest, with leaked photos of the fitness tracker – photos suggesting it will have a larger screen than the Galaxy Fit 2 that preceded it.

We then saw the device mentioned in a number of regulatory documents, an important step towards a full product release. Those documents also hinted that the wearable would also receive a battery upgrade.

Not long after, another leak followed, once again revealing the color options for the fitness tracker and that larger screen. It looks like gray, gold and black are the colors you can choose from with this device.

Our Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 review will tell you that we were particularly impressed with the current model, although it was already launched in September 2020, so a replacement is already overdue. The next version may appear in January alongside the Samsung Galaxy S24.
