Westfield closed off following dramatic shooting

Police in Western Sydney have arrested two men after a dramatic shooting incident at a Mount Druitt barbershop.

The incident took place at around 2.30am when a hail of bullets was fired at the store, located in the Westfield Shopping Centre.

Officers arriving on the scene discovered several bullet holes in the front window of the store.

Shots were also fired at the nearby train station.

No injuries were reported as the barbershop was empty at the time of the attack.

Police have tracked down and arrested two men in nearby Rooty Hill after their getaway car crashed into a parked vehicle.

Bullet casings were visible on the ground this morning as forensic officers examined the scene.
