Western Bulldogs star Rory Lobb and his partner Lexi Mary have announced their engagement.
The 30-year-old AFL player posted on Instagram, documenting the romantic proposal as it unfolded on Saturday evening during the couple’s holiday in the Maldives.
He captured the moment and shared a photo of a secluded table on the beach surrounded by a large love heart etched into the sand.
To add to the excitement, the lovebirds also shared a close-up photo of the impressive engagement ring.
The post quickly attracted many likes and comments from Lobb’s current and former teammates, partners of AFL players and enthusiastic fans.

Lobb recently finished his first season with the Western Bulldogs after a tumultuous departure from Fremantle in 2022.
His departure came a year after he expressed a desire to be traded back to the GWS Giants, where he initially launched his AFL career.

It was also revealed that Lobb had acquired a $1.85 million property in South Yarra, Melbourne, before his trade with the Bulldogs was completed.
Confirmation of his move was confirmed in the final minutes of the trading period, accompanied by a surprise revelation that Fremantle’s coaches had pointed him in the ‘wrong direction’.
His return to Perth for the first match against the Dockers was marked by hostility, with some fans launching a “Lobster Tears” beer.
Nevertheless, Lobb had the last laugh and contributed to the Bulldogs’ victory.
