A West Virginia businessman’s presidential bid took a dramatic turn recently when his pregnant wife collapsed during his official announcement.
Rollan Roberts II was several minutes into his target speech at the White House when his wife, Rebecca Lea Roberts, began to stumble before falling completely and toppling the American flag right next to him.
Rebecca, who is five months pregnant with the couple’s first child, lay on the ground for several seconds before Roberts moved to help her after several helpers intervened.
Since then, the Republican who has never been elected to public office has been mercilessly mocked on social media for his hesitance to help her.
