Wests Tigers’ Brandon Wakeham and Manly’s Josh Aloiai had to be separated twice in the tunnel an hour after Sunday’s game at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
Wakeham had just finished an interview with a reporter following the Sea Eagles’ 22-16 victory when he was approached by Aloiai.
Aloiai, who was angry about an earlier incident involving sledding on the field, told Wakeham to ‘come around the corner’ if he wanted to talk ‘shit’.
The pair exchanged words and had to be broken up before things escalated further.
Aloiai was pulled back into Manly’s dressing rooms by teammates, before Wakeham followed him into the rooms to continue the altercation.

According to the Heraldhad the beef to do with Wakeham taunting young debutant Samuela Fainu for missing a tackle after the Tigers crossed for a 64th-minute try.
The incident caused a scuffle on the field at the time, resulting in Fainu’s jersey being ripped off.
Fainu and Wakeham clashed again later in the game when Jason Saab scored the winner for Manly in the 72nd minute.
The win lifted Manly to second on the ladder, with four wins and one draw in their seven games.
The Tigers are still winless this season and are at the bottom of the NRL ladder.
