Two masked robbers went on the run with a cache of cigarettes and vapes after jumping on a gas station counter and threatening a worker with a large knife and gun.
Victoria Police said the men entered the service station on Ballarat Road in Maidstone, west of Melbourne, at around 10:10pm last Wednesday.
CCTV footage shows one of the men, wearing a high-visibility orange jacket and motorcycle helmet, running towards the worker and jumping on the counter while brandishing a large kitchen knife.
As he cornered the worker, a second man, wearing a yellow hi-vis jersey with the hood over his face, also jumped over the counter and pointed a handgun at the worker.
CCTV footage shows two men stealing a service station’s cigarette and vape supply by threatening the worker with a large kitchen knife and a pistol.
The men then began raiding the store’s supply of cigarettes and vapes, while the man in orange continued to point his knife menacingly at the store worker.
Both criminals then jumped over the counter and fled the gas station with the entire robbery lasting less than a minute.
The man in yellow, who was carrying the gun, is described as being Caucasian in appearance and between 20 and 25 years of age.
The second man, who was carrying the large kitchen knife, is also described as being Caucasian in appearance and between 20 and 25 years of age.
