West Ham are in talks with FC Nordsjaelland over a £16million transfer for winger Ibrahim Osman.
The Hammers are in talks with the Danish club as they look to seal a deal for the teenager before next week’s transfer deadline.
Brentford and Brighton have also shown interest in Osman, but West Ham are looking to steal a march on their rivals in the race for the striker.

The 19-year-old is a product of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, the same academy where Mohamed Kudus was trained.

Meanwhile, West Ham have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Kalvin Phillips on loan until the end of the season.
Mail Sport revealed on Monday how the two clubs were close to an agreement for the England midfielder, with a deal now in place.
Phillips is now cleared to complete a move to the London Stadium on his return from the United Arab Emirates, where City spent time over the winter break.
Details of an option for West Ham to make the deal permanent have yet to be fully confirmed, but that will not stand in the way of the move.

West Ham are open to a permanent deal under the right financial terms.
The deal will also see West Ham pay the vast majority of Phillips’ wages.
A number of rival Premier League clubs had expressed interest in Phillips but were put off by the terms of the deal.
Juventus have also shown strong interest and continue to monitor the situation, but it would take a massive turnaround for the Italian club to hijack West Ham’s move now.
Phillips has struggled to get into Pep Guardiola’s team since joining from Leeds for £42million
It is understood City were initially looking to secure a £6m loan fee for Phillips, in addition to waiving a large percentage of his wages.
There are also concerns among some clubs that it may take a while for Phillips to regain match sharpness after 18 months away from regular first-team football.
Newcastle and Crystal Palace are among the teams who have looked at signing the 28-year-old.
