West Ham sued by UEFA for fan behavior during Europa Conference League final victory in Prague
West Ham have been charged by UEFA for the behavior of their fans during their midweek Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina.
Serie A side captain Cristiano Biraghi suffered a head injury after being hit by one of several plastic cups hurled at him from the end containing Hammers supporters as he went to take a corner kick in the first half .
West Ham have also been accused of invading the field of play.
Fiorentina have filed two charges related to setting off fireworks and throwing objects.
UEFA’s Audit, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) will decide on the matter in due course.
