West Ham are ready to sell Declan Rice this summer if they receive a suitable offer for their £100m rated skipper, with Arsenal leading Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign him.

  • Rice’s contract expires in 2024 and West Ham can trigger a one-year extension
  • Midfielder wants to play in the Champions League and Arsenal are eager to sign him

West Ham will accept the loss of Declan Rice this summer if a suitable £100 million bid is made for their captain, Mail Sport can reveal.

Rice, 24, agreed to stay for the season to help lead the team after Mark Noble’s retirement, but the club was unable to convince him to stay longer.

The England midfielder’s contract expires in 2024 and West Ham can initiate a one-year extension. But sources have said they will have to sell this summer as Rice is ready to leave to compete for the biggest trophies.

They will welcome offers and use that clause in negotiations saying his contract is valid until 2025.

Rice has made no secret of his ambition to play in the Champions League. Arsenal are favorites to sign him, but Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are also admirers.
