Asked on Monday whether they still support Moyes despite growing unrest among fans, a senior source said: “One hundred percent.”

Prior to the 5-0 defeat at Fulham, West Ham were unbeaten in their previous four games, including their come-from-behind 2-1 win at Tottenham.

Moyes survived multiple calls for his head last season and secured victories every time he was sacked. West Ham beat Everton 2-0, Nottingham Forest 4-0 and Southampton 1-0 – all matches described as 'must-wins'.

The Europa Conference League victory over Fiorentina in June saw Moyes enter the final season of his contract, although there was no extension offer.

West Ham are prepared to wait until the end of the season before making a decision on their management situation.
