West Ham show late interest in Le Havre defender Etienne Youte Kinkoue.
The German Eintracht Frankfurt and the Austrian Red Bull Salzburg are enthusiastic about the 1.80 meter tall French youth international.
But the centre-back, seen as one of Le Havre’s most important players, is also on the Hammers radar ahead of the transfer window’s close on Thursday.
The 22-year-old, worth an estimated £10million, came through Inter Milan’s youth academy after joining the Italian side from Troyes.
He gained his first senior experience with Greek club Olympiacos’ second team before earning a move to Le Havre last January, ahead of their title win and promotion to the French top flight last season.
