Wes Nelson has shocked fans by announcing that his planned performance in Zante has been cancelled due to ‘circumstances beyond his control.’
The 26-year-old former Love Island star admitted he was ‘devastated’ and was ‘looking forward’ to his performance at the Sizzle Club Zante, which also features his Villa colleague Jack Fowler.
However, Wes shared on his Instagram Stories that he had been ‘told’ the show had been cancelled, writing: ‘Due to circumstances beyond my control. I have been told my show in Zante tomorrow has been cancelled.
‘Too bad for everyone who’s here, I was actually looking forward to it.’
In his story on Friday, Wes filmed himself sightseeing in Spain after he and his friend nearly missed their flight after drinking beer and tequila at the airport.

But Zante isn’t the first gig the star has cancelled this year.
In April, Wes canceled his nationwide tour that was to begin that spring.
He had planned to perform some intimate performances, but said he had to move the dates to later in 2024.
Wes shared the news again with his fans via Instagram, emphasizing that he could not make the decision himself.
After Wes rose to fame on Love Island in 2018, he turned to music and is now a multi-millionaire.
He is currently under contract with the international record label Sony Music Entertainment. He told his fans that this will soon lead to his own record label, Foot Down Records.
This would allow him to release music independently and still receive support from Sony.
The couple are now in the country and are currently exploring Barcelona. Wes asked his fans where he should go.
