Harry Kane received a smoky welcome to the Bundesliga after Werden Bremen supporters put on a mesmerizing fireworks display at the start of the second half in Friday’s season opener.
The Englishman scored as he made his top-flight German debut against Bremen as Bayern traveled to the Weserstadion on the eve of the weekend.
However, Kane may have been unprepared for an explosive light show set in motion as home supporters set off flares and fireworks in the stands.
The 42,000 seat stadium was packed with excited fans eagerly waiting to see their team in action on the opening day of the new season and ultras showed up and were heard after the break.
Supporters on both sides of the stadium set off a fireworks display in unison, with one group using bright white explosives and the other lighting red flares.

Footage shows a huge array of white fireworks set off in the bottom row of a grandstand as the crowd, hidden from view under a blanket of smoke, bounces up and down.
Chants echo throughout the venue as flares continue to blare and giant flags wave in the center of the stands.
Ironically, a television screen at the top of the stands shows a huge warning symbol captioned with words related to the use of pyrotechnics.
However, there appears to be no intervention from any official, with the fans eventually allowing their devices to run out of gunpowder.

The red flares in the away section on the other side of the stadium are equally impressive and Bayern supporters respond in the same message.
Their display is less whimsical as fans stand on the top floor holding red flares that create a sea of striking color that shimmers in the dark of evening.
Smoke fills that part of the bleachers again and continues to drift onto the field where players are about to kick off the second half.
The flares eventually run out and there are no more light shows when play resumes, but players must wade through smoke for the next five minutes as it drifts into the open.
