The desperate search for a missing mother continues after cops rushed to her burning home to find bloodstains all over the charred house.

Emergency services were called to the home of 61-year-old Wendy Sleeman on Tuesday afternoon to find her Ironbark St home in Elanora, on the southern Gold Coast, on fire.

The front of the house had been set on fire and blood stains were found inside.

Ms. Sleeman is known in the local community for breeding Labradors.

Forensic teams were seen collecting evidence from the home late into the night and sources confirmed to the mail blood had been found in the house.

Police issued a ‘high risk’ missing person alert for Wendy Sleeman, 61 (above), after blood was discovered in her burning home in Elanora on Tuesday.

Queensland Police are searching for a 30-year-old man (above), believed to be Ms Sleeman’s son, but have warned the public not to approach him.

Queensland Police have yet to confirm details of what was found in the house or the fire, but will hold a press conference on Wednesday morning.

Police issued a missing persons alert for ‘a 61-year-old female’ at 7:45pm on Tuesday, seeking ‘urgent assistance’ in finding a 30-year-old man who they believe can help with investigations.

Murdok is believed to be driving a blue Honda Jazz with Queensland registration 952AT4 (above)

The man is understood to be Mrs. Sleeman’s son, Jamie, who goes by the name Slade Murdok.

He is believed to be driving a blue Honda Jazz with the Queensland registration number 952AT4.

He is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall, with brown hair and a slim build.

Police have warned the public not to approach Murdok if they see him.

Anyone with information on the location of the man or woman is asked to contact police.
