Wellbeing influencer Laura Henshaw reveals how rarely she washes her bra, sparking heated debate

One of Australia’s most popular wellness influencers has made a shocking admission about her personal hygiene.

Laura Henshaw, who runs the Keep it Cleaner brand with fellow influencer Steph Claire Smith, admitted on the brand’s podcast that she only washes her bra once a month.

“How many times do I have to wash my bra, because I really don’t wash my bra…” she said on KIC Pod.

Steph, the show’s co-host, replied: “No, how often do you actually do that?”

A sheepish Laura replied: ‘Probably once a month, I think. It’s harder to wash a bra!’

Then she added, “The longer the life of the bra, the less you wash it.”

Clearly unimpressed by her dirty confession, Steph bluntly stated that she washes her own bra “every two to three wears.”

Laura tried to justify herself, insisting that her bra “doesn’t stink.”

The duo’s fans took to the comments section on Instagram to share how often they wash their own underwear.

“How often do I have to wash my bra, because I really don’t wash my bra…” said Laura on KIC Pod

“I only wash mine because I’m too lazy to put it back in the drawer,” one person admitted.

“Laura, you are my spirit person,” another gushed. “I have two bras, wash once a month… with absolute stretch.”

Another listener confessed, “I haven’t worn the same bra in a year and it’s been washed about three times.”

One said: ‘Clean the bra every 2-3 days, I throw it in the washing bag in the washing machine with all my other laundry.’

Another listener warned Laura to wash her bra “after every wear” as bacteria can build up in the fabric and lead to skin problems.

In August, Laura shocked fans when she admitted she doesn’t shower after sex.

“You just wipe it off with a tissue,” she shrugged, leaving co-host Steph bewildered.
