Ethan Plath celebrated New Year’s Eve by introducing the world to his new girlfriend, ten months after filing for divorce from his estranged wife Olivia Plath.

Ethan didn’t mention the blue-eyed blonde, but some in the comments called his conservative, controlling mother Kim Plath “not liking those necklines” on her plunging floral dresses.

Plath, a classic car enthusiast, looked absolutely smitten with his new mystery companion in the photos, including a photo of them with their arms around each other in front of a retro convertible.

The platinum blonde mechanic is technically still married to Olivia, as she revealed The Sarah Fraser Show on December 21 that their divorce will be finalized “hopefully 2025.”

Ethan and the 26-year-old traveling wedding photographer were just 20 when they tied the knot in October 2018 and legally separated on February 25, 2023, but didn’t announce it publicly until eight months later.

Plath wrote in his split statement: “It seemed that in life we ​​were constantly pulling each other in opposite directions with different goals. I wish Olivia the best for the future. I care about her very much and always will.”
