A fashion-conscious influencer is one of many flyers stuck in France due to Microsoft’s global outage, caused by a CrowdStrike error.
Brigette Pheloung confirmed her dilemma in a TikTok video She posted a message this morning showing chaos at the airport.
She managed to catch the plane, but the wealthy influencer in first class asked TikTok users if they thought it would “catch” in a video update.
Brigette, who currently lives in New York, has been in St. Tropez with her twin sister Danielle since the beginning of this week.
Danielle was also featured in the video update and, like her sister, was stuck in first class on their Delta flight.

The Pheloung sisters took part in a Tory Burch photoshoot during their trip to St. Tropez.
They also spent time on the water with Millane Friesen and Chiara King and attended a Tory Burch event at Nikki Beach Saint Tropez.
The pair had planned to fly home today before the outage hit, which has grounded flights in the US and caused chaos for airlines worldwide.
According to Rep. Eric Swalwell, Delta, American Airlines and United Airlines have ordered a “global ground stop.”
Although the Pheloung sisters’ plane was at a standstill, the Paris airport authority said in a statement that the outage had not affected its computer systems.
The issue was caused by a bug in an update to CrowdStrike’s Falcon Sensor software, which analyzes connections to and from the internet to determine if malicious behavior has occurred.
“This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated, and a fix has been implemented,” CrowdStrike said in a statement.
“We also recommend that organizations ensure they communicate with CrowdStrike representatives through official channels.”
It’s unclear whether Brigette and Danielle will return home today, but so far more than 2,000 U.S. flights have been canceled due to the outage.

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz apologized six hours after the “blue screen of death.”
“We deeply regret the impact this has caused to our customers, travelers and everyone affected, including our business,” Kurtz said in an interview with NBC’s Today.
He added that many of the affected customers are rebooting their systems, but that for some it may take some time and that the system “will not automatically recover.”
In addition to airports, the outage also had major consequences for hospitals, media, banks and various 112 services.
TikTok users who watched Brigette’s videos wished her a safe return home to the US, while others shared their alleged experiences at the airport.

At least two TikTokers who departed from European airports claimed they had to wait for hours, one for more than five hours.
“I am supposed to leave Naples for Paris with final destination Washington, DC. They haven’t said anything yet but I hope this gets resolved soon,” one TikTok user wrote.
Others suggested that Brigette extend her stay or fly to Portugal or Croatia instead.
