A wealthy Miami man, who recently divorced, left a female triathlete bruised and bloodied after he attacked her with a water bottle while he was running on a bike path.
Andrew Cobb, 54, threw the bottle at Maria Galleguillo in the face, causing her to fall from her bike and seriously injure herself.
Cobb, who owns a $430,000 luxury condo in Miami and filed for divorce in 2023, allegedly told the victim afterward, “You guys need to walk the same path I’m on, guys.”
Shocking footage shows Galleguillo, 56, bleeding and on the ground after being beaten, while Cobb runs from the scene as bystanders called police.
Galleguillo was cycling on Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne at approximately 7:45 a.m. on July 7 when Cobb approached her as she was jogging on the same road.

As the two passed each other, Cobb threw a water bottle in Galleguillo’s face, Miami-Dade police said.
After committing the “evil act,” Cobb remained at the scene while another cyclist called police to report the incident.
Before police arrived, Cobb ran away.
“When more cyclists gathered and shouted ‘police,’ the man left,” Galleguillo said Room 10.
Just before they passed each other on the trail, Galleguillo attempted to pass Cobb as he ran straight toward her.
“That was an evil act,” Galleguillo said at the hospital.
‘That guy who was running there, he really shouldn’t have been there, because it was a bike path. It wasn’t a pedestrian path.’

Galleguillo said Cobb “could have easily switched” to the bike path, but now she can’t enjoy her favorite hobbies or get to work for the time being.
Cobb was arrested Monday and is charged with aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
