The number of searches for cheap houses in Sicily has skyrocketed after the TV show ‘Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job’.
According to Rightmove, since the start of the BBC One show in January, the number is up 255 per cent from the same period a year earlier.
The property website compared online searches for Sicily between January 6 and February 22 this year with 2022.
