Wayne Rooney’s son Kai shows off the former England and Man United captain’s stunning trophy room – including replicas of all THIRTEEN of his senior titles and 120 Three Lions caps among career mementos

Wayne Rooney is one of the most decorated footballers in England’s history, but the magnitude of the trophies he has won only becomes clear when you see it for yourself.

The former Manchester United and Three Lions captain is one of the most technically gifted players ever born in this country and is said to hold goalscoring records for both club and country.

For years he was the star for Man United under Sir Alex Ferguson, when they were one of football’s best sides. From 2006 to 2009 they won three consecutive Premier Leagues and the Champions League in 2008.

Although Harry Kane has since surpassed Rooney’s national record, there are few players worldwide who can rival the sheer number of trophies, medals, gongs and awards he can boast.

His son Kai, who is keen to follow in his illustrious father’s footsteps as an U16 player at United, has shared a glimpse of Rooney’s absurd string of trophies in his trophy room at home.

Some footballers won’t win a single cup in their entire career, but the Plymouth boss has so many he needs a whole room to show off everything he has won in his 19-year professional career.

As the camera enters the room via a staircase, viewers can see three entire walls devoted to silverware, as well as a separate cabinet in the center filled with some of Rooney’s 120 England caps.

The first wall contains the Premier League’s Man of the Match and Player of the Month awards, the PFA Player’s Player’s Player of the Year trophy, several England caps, prize bottles of champagne and prizes for top scorers.

The camera then shows the majority of Rooney’s England caps in the center of the room, before moving to a display case containing his replica trophies.

The top shelf features the 39-year-old’s five Premier Leagues, four League Cups, his only FA Cup, Europa League, Champions League and Club World Cup trophies, and two signed match balls.

There are seven balls left in the cupboard, for a total of nine, after scoring seven hat-tricks in the Premier League alone.

But a place of honor in the glass display case will be the shirt from his 2008 Champions League victory, complete with the medal he and his Man United teammates earned that night in Moscow.

Next up is another set of England caps, as well as a commemorative gold coin to be presented in honor of his 100th appearance for the Three Lions, as well as more Man of the Match and Goalscorer awards and a special Premier League award to be presented in the 20th top season.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about the whole awe-inspiring video: There appears to be even more prizes in the back of the room, as well as some shirts from memorable nights that don’t make it into the video.

Rooney has arguably not received the true extent of the praise he deserves for his stellar playing career; only two players have scored more Premier League goals than him, while he is also the fourth highest assist maker.

Rooney, a player who burst onto the scene with Everton in 2004, was quickly snapped up by United. His pace, strength, technical gifts and drive made him a future Premier League legend.

Rooney has since moved into management, although he found the dugout a little more difficult to master than the pitch itself.

After spells at DC United, Derby County and Birmingham, Rooney is currently struggling with Plymouth Argyle in the Championship relegation zone, winning just four of their 18 games.
