Rooney recently claimed Ronaldo’s actions were “unacceptable” at times, accusing him of being an unwanted “distraction” for the club.

He also urged the Red Devils to sell the Portuguese star in the summer after telling the club he wanted to leave, but Ronaldo ultimately failed to get away.
Rooney and Ronaldo have a long history, dating back to 2004 when Rooney arrived at Old Trafford a year after Ronaldo moved to the English giants.
The pair were involved in an infamous incident at the 2006 World Cup when Rooney was sent off for stomping on Ricardo Carvalho.
As Rooney left the field, Ronaldo was caught winking on camera, appearing to confirm he had played a part in ensuring the England striker got his marching orders.
On their return to United the following season, the duo put aside their differences and entered into a deadly partnership that led the club to three successive league titles, plus the Champions League in 2008.
However, it seems their relationship has now hit a new low, with Ronaldo not taking it too kindly when Rooney questions his behaviour.
