Footy fans were left stunned after Dale Finucane showed off his musical skills with a rendition of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’ at the Dally M Awards.
Sharks star Finucane was joined by Peking Duk to sing the iconic tune in a moving tribute to footy greats who have died over the past year.
The 32-year-old showed off his strong guitar playing and soulful vocals for his colleagues in Sydney.
And fans took to Twitter, now known as X, to praise Finucane after his impressive performance.
“Wow Dale Finucane on guitar and vocals,” said one fan.
Another added: ‘I don’t care what anyone says, Dale Finucane has just won the Dally M. That was brilliant.’
A third said: ‘Well done Dale Finucane… serious effort going in front of a group of your friends and fighters and singing live while playing guitar solo… on national television!’
