- Dan Hooker strangled a radio host
- The UFC star put the producer in a triangle choke
- He has been sidelined with an arm injury
Dan Hooker is sharpening his tools as he recovers from an arm injury that saw the UFC star choke out a radio host this week.
The Kiwi star is on the sidelines following arm surgery, but remains busy with occasional media appearances in his home country.
On Wednesday, the Executioner demonstrated just how deadly his submission game is during an appearance at The Morning Rumble.
The UFC lightweight contender was asked to drill a triangle choke on producer Mitch Farr.
The charismatic producer was sent in and out twice, before bragging that he hadn't suffered at all during either episode.

Hooker is sidelined with an arm injury but hopes to return to the Octagon in May
Hooker decided to take it a step further on his third attempt, ignoring Farr's tapping hand that knocked the producer unconscious.
A disoriented Farr didn't seem too surprised by the experience and just smiled.
“I'm doing well,” he said when his colleagues asked him about it.
Hooker's attempt to end 2023 on a high was cut short after an arm injury forced him out of the fight against fellow veteran Bobby Green on December 2.
He has won his last two fights, including his memorable split-decision victory over Jalin Turner at UFC 290.
The 35-year-old is targeting a return to the Octagon in May next year.
