Drew Barrymore showered Jason Kelce with flowers backstage at WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

The actress, Kelce, and his former teammate, Lane Johnson, were all guest celebrities during the WWE’s two-day celebration through April 6 and 7 at Lincoln Financial Field.

After the event, a video surfaced of Barrymore, in the role of Flower Power, meeting Kelce and Johnson backstage. She presented Kelce with a gold WWE replica belt before covering him in flowers.

“I’m Flower Power,” she said as she entered the room. Kelce played along with the character, saying, “You look incredible.”

“Thank you very much,” Barrymore replied. ‘Flower Power wanted to dress up to present this to you [belt] that’s been everywhere. It was at the Super Bowl, but it has to come home to you, Jason and Lane, and to Philly.”

The retired Eagles center accepted the belt and thanked Barrymore for delivering it.

“I love this, Flower Power, thank you for providing the gold belt for WrestleMania,” Kelce exclaimed before breaking character. Barrymore was the first to break when she introduced herself and gushed over the former Eagle and veteran offensive tackle.

After exchanging introductions and hugs, Barrymore asked Kelce what his ring name would be, to which he replied, “Hybernating Jason.” After agreeing that they would make a good tag team, Barrymore showered flowers on Kelce.

“The Rock gave me this fanny pack, and I’d like to just do it [sprinkle petals on Kelce,] she said as she performed the playful ritual. “Remember when I told you you would be in the middle of nature?”

“Oh, please sprinkle me,” Kelce said, laughing.

Kelce returned to the home of the Eagles for WrestleMania after retiring from the NFL in March

Kelce and Johnson emerged from the stands wearing luchador masks during Rey Mysterio and Andrade’s match against Santo Eskobar and Rey’s son Dominik. With their identities hidden, Johnson grabbed a steel chair away from Dominik before Kelce threw him to the ring post and back into the squared circle.

From there, Rey executed his ‘619’ finisher and pinned Eskobar for the win. Johnson and Kelce then took off their masks as the Philadelphia crowd erupted upon seeing them back at the Eagles’ home.

In March, Kelce announced his retirement after 13 seasons in the NFL, all of which were in Philadelphia. On the other hand, Johnson was drafted by the Eagles in 2013 and is entering his twelfth season in the league.
