Watch the awkward moment Curtis Pritchard is reunited with Love Island ex Maura Higgins as she ‘worries’ he’ll spill on their relationship on All Stars
Curtis Pritchard and his ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins had an awkward reunion when they crossed paths for the first time since their divorce in 2020.
The former Love Island stars came face to face again when Curtis, 28, appeared on Love Island Games, which Maura, 34, co-hosted with Maya Jama.
Maura was tasked with questioning the islanders about their time in the villa, and among them was none other than Curtis.
Before the cameras rolled, the former couple exchanged a brief and polite greeting, asking about each other’s families in a noticeably tense moment.
“Long time no see, Curtis,” Maura said before Curtis burst into a sheepish laugh.
After the brief pleasantries, Maura wasted no time in diving into the details of her ex’s time on Love Island Games.

Maura was tasked with questioning the islanders about their time in the villa, and among them was none other than Curtis.
“It’s a bit weird being out,” Curtis told her, before revealing he was “gutted” to have left so early in the match.
She then challenged him about his flirtatious behavior with the other women in the villa, despite being matched with Lisa Celander.
“You were paired with Lisa, but you obviously met some other girls,” she said. ‘There was a lot of flirting. But you always seemed to return to Lisa. Why do you think that was the case?’
At one point, Maura then teased that Curtis “still has no balls,” to which he replied, “You’d know that!”
He also raised the issue of his snoring in the villa, asking: ‘Do I snore?’
“I don’t know,” she replied. “I mean, I can’t remember. To be honest, it’s been so long.”

Maura and Curtis first linked up on the original series of Love Island in 2019, where the pair ultimately finished in fourth place.
Despite their initial spark, the romance fizzled and they split just eight months later, amid rumors of infidelity on both sides – accusations they have both denied.
While Maura recently impressed on TV with her stint in the jungle – where she spoke candidly about dating TOWIE star Pete Wicks – Curtis is also making his own comeback to the spotlight.
A source told The Sun: ‘Signing Curtis for All Stars is beyond awkward for Maura, just as she has fallen in love with Pete and they have finally made their love public.
‘Her breakup with Curtis wasn’t the best and Maura was always worried he would be the ex who could talk. It’s also not ideal as she hopes to build on her I’m A Celebrity profile and progress her career.
‘Love Island bosses are in the process of confirming the Islanders who will launch the January show and Curtis may not make that line-up, but he is in the cast of bangers who will land later in the series.’
MailOnline contacted a representative for Maura for further comment.
Love Island: All Stars returns on Monday January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
