This is the moment a man serenaded a “polite and charming” Pippa Middleton in a Kensington restaurant.

The Princess of Wales’s sister, 39, was out for dinner at Cambio De Tercio in Kensington, London, with her husband James Matthews and two of their friends.

One diner plucked up the courage to sing Frank Sinatra’s My Way to Pippa on the way to the bathroom.

The performance took place on June 14, 2017, and the uncovered clip of the moment shows singer Mark Lister, 66, breaking into song dressed in a blue ensemble.

Mark said the “alcohol helped” and that he decided to sing for a laugh and as an “apology” for not making it to Pippa’s wedding in May 2017.

Mark, a father of two and business owner from Windsor, Berkshire, said: “The alcohol helped tremendously. He seemed to be enjoying it very much, I enjoyed it very much.

“I went to the bathroom and saw her, so I said ‘sorry I couldn’t make it to the wedding, I’ll sing you a song instead’ and she seemed to take it well.”

‘It was a lovely atmosphere, she said thank you, and she was very polite and very charming.

“I love to sing and it was a pleasure to do it for her. She looked fabulous, she seemed to be having fun.

It comes after Pippa’s third child with her husband, financier James Matthews, 47, was christened this week at their local village church in Berkshire, The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reported.

They told him: “Prince William and Catherine attended the service.”
