This is the moment Buckie Thistle players found out they were facing reigning champions Celtic in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

The fifth tier plays football in the Highland Football League and is based in the small fishing village of Buckie in Moray.

They were founded in 1889 and play in Victoria Park, which has a stadium capacity of 400 people.

Now many of their players are preparing for a unique match against Scotland’s second most successful team.

As they sit in the pub enjoying a pint, the Jags players can be seen jumping up and down with joy when they heard the news.

Someone can even be heard shouting ‘f***** come on’ as the group dances on the chairs in the pub.

Taking to social media, fans were quick to share their praise with one Celtic fan admitting they ‘loved this reaction’, while another said: “This is what football is about, be the day of their lives no matter what. What a sport.’

Thistle claimed a dramatic third-round penalty victory over Broxburn on Saturday to earn the draw.

They will now travel to Glasgow at the end of January to take on Brendan Rodgers’ side, with whom they share the same green and white kit.

But while it is a dream come true, Buckies manager Graeme Stewart joked it might have been better to face Rangers as they will be forced to wear their away kit at Celtic Park.

“I’m over the moon,” he said SunSport‘It’s the best draw we could have had, although it would have been nice to get Rangers at Ibrox with our hoops too!

‘But Celtic at Parkhead is incredible for the club, and I’m so happy for our president Garry Farquhar.

We are the biggest club in the Highland League in terms of fan base, but in terms of sponsorship that is not the case.’
