New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was throwing again on the first day of the team’s Organized Team Activities (OTAs).

Jets social media captured a moment during practice when Rodgers delivered a perfect pass to Garrett Wilson, who sprinted his way in for a touchdown.

It was just the first day of these OTAs – which can only take place over a ten-day period during the off-season.

But the signs are already positive for Rodgers, who missed all but four games of the previous season due to an Achilles tendon injury.

Just four moments into his career as a Jet, the quarterback went down and didn’t return to the field last season despite his best efforts.

Without Rodgers, the Jets struggled all season under his replacement Zach Wilson.

The Jets finished the season 7-10 and missed the playoffs for the 12th straight season.

But things are already looking good for Gang Green – with the Jets drafting prized Penn State offensive lineman Olu Fashanu with their first-round pick.

The Jets open their preseason on August 10 with a home game against the Washington Commanders and then take on the New York Giants on August 24.

They open their regular season on the road on Monday Night Football against the reigning NFC champions: the San Francisco 49ers.
