Washington survives a shootout against USC as the No. 5 Huskies outlast the No. 20 Trojans on the road at the LA Coliseum winning 52-42 to stay a perfect 9-0

Running back Dillon Johnson had an explosive performance for the fifth-seeded Huskies as Washington defeated No. 20 USC 52-42 on the road to remain perfect on the season.

Johnson had 26 carries for an astonishing 256 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the night as the Trojans’ defense was gassed.

Huskies quarterback and Heisman Trophy frontrunner Michael Penix Jr. passed as many yards as Johnson had run (256) and threw for two touchdowns and an interception.
