Multiple reports out of the Washington Metro area say Washington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson is in stable condition after being shot multiple times.
The story was broken by NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay, who says the incident was an attempted robbery. His sources say the injuries sustained were not life threatening.
Washington Post reporter Nicki Jhabvala says Robinson is in stable condition.
This incident occurred just as rumors began to circulate that Robinson would be named the starting running back for the newly named Commanders over veteran Antonio Gibson.
